Biscuits ( Lemon Blueberry ) Recipe

 


2 c All-purpose flour
1/3 c Sugar
2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Salt
8 oz Lemon yogurt, lowfat
1 Egg; lightly beaten
1/4 c Butter or margarine; melted
1 ts Grated lemon peel
1 c Fresh or frozen blueberries
Glaze:
1/2 c Powdered sugar
1 tb Lemon juice
1/2 ts Grated lemon peel

In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Combine yogurt, egg,
butter and lemon peel; stir into dry ingredients just until
moistened. Fold in bluebe rries. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a
greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 de grees for 15-18 minutes or
until lightly browned. Combine glaze ingredient s; drizzle over warm
biscuits.
