750 g Chicken pieces
2 tb Vegetable oil
425 g Whole tomatoes (canned)
1 sm Onion, chopped
1 Clove garlic, chopped
1 ts Dried thyme =OR=
Several sprays fresh thyme
Salt and pepper
Arrange the chicken pieces in an ovenproof dish. Pour oil over the
chicken, then spread the tomatoes and their juices over the pieces.
Top with onion, garlic, thyme, salt and pepper, and bake in a 180~C
(350~F) oven for approximately 1 hour, or until the chicken is
cooked, basting it occasionally with the liquid in the dish. Serve
