1 md Onion, chopped
2 tb Butter
1/2 c Chili sauce
1/2 c Ketchup
1/2 c Water
1/4 c Cider vinegar
2 tb Worcestershire sauce
2 tb Lemon juice
1 tb Molasses
2 ts Dry mustard
2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Pepper
1/2 ts Paprika
In a heavy pan, saute onion in butter over moderate heat until tender
but not browned. Add remaining ingredients, blending well. Bring
sauce to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
