This beer bread recipe adds flavor
with--you guessed it--beer! Nice and simple with
only three ingredients.
3 cups
self rising flour
2 Tbsp sugar
12 oz Beer, room temp.
In a mixing bowl combine flour and
sugar. Add beer. Mix well. Place in a greased loaf
pan and bake at 375° F for 50-60 minutes. Brush with
melted butter.
Variation:
Add 1/2 cup chopped green scallions and 1/2 cup
shredded cheddar cheese and 1 1/2 tsp. poultry
seasoning.
